Recruiting
The Recruiting module manages the full hiring pipeline — from opening a requisition to extending and signing an offer, and handing off to onboarding.
Key concepts
Requisition — a formal request to hire for a specific role, including headcount, employment type, priority, and the client/LOB it serves.
Candidate — a person in your talent pool. A candidate can have multiple applications across different requisitions.
Application — links a candidate to a specific requisition and tracks their progress through the pipeline stages.
Assessment — a pre-screening exercise (multiple choice, ranking, situational judgement, typing test, or short narrative) administered to a candidate by the Assessment Engine. Bound per LOB and stage; can be inline at apply (Stage 1) or delivered later by email (Stage 2).
Offer — a formal offer of employment extended to a candidate, including compensation details and start date. Offers are signed electronically within the platform.
Hire Package — a structured checklist of documents, policies, and tasks a candidate must complete as part of accepting an offer and completing pre-boarding. Hire packages are built from reusable templates.
Recruiting pipeline stages
Applications move through these stages, in order:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| Applied | Candidate submitted their application |
| Assessment | Candidate is taking the assessments configured for the LOB and stage. Powered by the Assessment Engine. Skipped if no Stage-1 assessment is bound to the (client, LOB) combination — see LOB configs. |
| Screening | Recruiter reviews the application and any assessment results |
| Interview | Active interview process |
| Background check | Pre-employment verification |
| Offer | Offer extended and pending signature |
| Hired | Offer accepted; application moves to onboarding |
Two terminal exits can be reached from any non-terminal stage:
| Exit | Description |
|---|---|
| Rejected | Recruiter or hiring manager rejected the candidate. The rejection reason is captured on the application. |
| Withdrawn | Candidate withdrew themselves. |
A second assessment gate (Stage 2 — typically delivered as an email invite) can fire after Screening or Interview to administer a longer or role-specific assessment before the application progresses further. Stage gates are configured per (client account, LOB, stage) in Assessment Engine → LOB configs, with optional per-requisition overrides.
