Onboarding templates

Onboarding templates define the task list a new hire walks through. Templates can be scoped per client account and LOB so each combination gets the right paperwork, training assignments, and policy acknowledgements.

The list

Per row: template name, client account, LOB, enabled status. Actions: Create, Edit, Enable / Disable. Click a row to open the detail page.

Detail

/settings/onboarding/[id] covers:

  • Template metadata — name, scope (client account + LOB), language
  • Task list — reorderable, with per-task type (form, signature, training assignment, document upload, etc.)
  • Preview — what the new hire sees walking through the template

Tasks can be added, removed, and reordered by drag.

How templates get used

When a candidate is hired, the onboarding workflow picks the matching template based on their client account and LOB at hire time. If multiple templates match, the most-specific wins (LOB-specific over client-only over default).
